Quikleen™ Absorbent

QuiKleen™ is a lightweight, odorless absorbent composed of Amorphous Aluminum Silicate.

QuiKleen™ acts as a sponge and is considered an ABSORBENT not an ADSORBENT such as “clay” products. The absorbed material actually becomes part of the molecule encapsulating the fluid and will not release.

QuiKleen™ will absorb any liquid or semi liquid almost instantly.  It's absorption far exceeds clay based (kitty litter) products by 20 to 1 by weight or 5 to 1 by volume.

QuiKleen™ is considered a Non-Biodegradable, meaning that it will not degrade into the landfill.  Unused it can be land filled like any other non-toxic or non-hazardous raw material with no prohibitions. When absorbing hazardous or toxic materials it must be disposed of in accordance with the MSDS or any Federal, State or Local laws and regulations.

Other products such as clay, rice hull, corn husk and peat moss are prohibited from the landfill because of it’s leaching factors. An adsorbent is like a rock and will not absorb and will not hold the liquid...what they absorb will release.  Therefore, they are considered Biodegradable products and not acceptable in landfills.

• Is EPA Certified and has been privately tested for its non-leachability (TCLP)

• Is nonflammable and has no BTU value in it's unused state.  It can Be incinerated after use and will melt at 2400 degrees Fahrenheit, transforming into Small glass balls.

• Is a non-toxic and non-hazardous to humans, plants, or animals and the environment. It is listed as a “non-carcinogen” by the IARC (monogram 42). QuiKleen will not leach absorbed liquids.

QuiKleen™ can be used on any surface indoors or outdoors. Such as, asphalt, concrete, cement, tile, wood or carpet.

QuiKleen™ is conveniently packaged for a variety of applications.
