Fill 'er Up - Duke Energy and Coke Consolidated Test "Plug In" Charging for Hybrids

In some applications, plug in charging of hybrid (combination of traditional fuel (gasoline or diesel fuel) and electric power) vehicles can add convenience and save money.

Duke Power and Coca Cola Bottling Companies Consolidated, both of Charlotte, NC have agreed to conduct a test of aftermarket attachments that would provide this feature for Coke Consolidated's fleet of hybrid cars.
